Who Can Nominate

  • •High School Teachers and Administrators
  • •Tribal Education Department Officials
  • •STEM Program Directors and Coordinators
  • •Community Leaders and Mentors

Student Eligibility

  • •
    Tribal Enrollment: Students must be enrolled members of a federally recognized tribe
  • •
    Grade Level: There are no formal grade level requirements. However, we believe that juniors and seniors have the greatest ability to benefit from the program due to its fast pace and depth.
  • •
    Academic Standing: Strong academic performance, particularly in STEM subjects
  • •
    Interest: Demonstrated interest in STEM fields and community impact

Nomination Steps

Prepare Information

Gather the following information about your nominee:

  1. • Student's full name and contact information
  2. • Tribal affiliation
  3. • Academic records and achievements
  4. • Brief statement of student's STEM interests

Nominations for TASC '27 open this winter and will be evaluated on a rolling basis. You are welcome to reach out before then at tasc-exec@mit.edu.
