The MIT Tulsa Advanced Sciences Camp ("TASC," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information through this website.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including: name, email address, school affiliation, tribal enrollment information, and application materials. For educators and nominators, we also collect professional information such as position and institution.

If you ask to be notified when applications open, we store only the email address you give us, plus any optional name, state, or note you choose to add. We use it to send you a single message when the application window opens, and nothing else. You can remove yourself at any time from our unsubscribe page, or by emailing us. We do not require or store tribal enrollment information for that list.

If you choose "Continue with Google" to create or access an account, Google sends us your name, email address, and whether Google has verified that address. We store those in your account, along with the account identifier Google uses for you so we can recognize you on your next sign-in. We do not receive or store your Google password, and we do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google data. You can instead create an account with an email address and password, and you can set a password on a Google-created account at any time.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to: process applications and nominations, communicate with applicants and nominators about program status, notify people who requested it when applications open, improve our program and services, and comply with legal obligations.

Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share information with MIT administrative offices, the PKG Center for Social Impact, and the University of Tulsa as necessary for program administration. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

This site uses essential cookies for authentication purposes only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
